Iron Fist S01E04:
The elevator fight scene is better than the last 3 episodes, but still blend compared to, says, the elevator fight scene in Captain America 2 and Ip Man 3.
Judging from what I’ve seen, and the feedback I’ve got from other people, I really think this is the fault of the action director (if there was one lol), rather than the actor’s.
Are they going for a martial art fighting style or a more MMA fighting style?????? Because they are failing at both??????
*I need to watch some Donnie Yen fight to wash my eyes*
The Colleen fight scene is somewhat better looking, but that’s it.
And I hope it has something to do with her actual character building
rather than just “oh look she is such a strong female character she can
beat up men 3 times her size” *shrug*

can they hire chinese actors who can ACTUALLY SPEAK MANDARIN?????? I
felt second hand embarrassment hearing them struggled with their
mandarin. Or, if the only chinese actors you can find in the whole
fucking USA are cantonese ppl, just let them speak cantonese?????? (I
have this problem since Daredevil, it’s just so ridiculous)
