Because Kallus got character growth and unnamed Lasat did not, so I cannot come up with a satisfactory resolution for this showdown.
I’m going for option z where Kallus carries Zeb off into the sunset but then I think of his poor back.
I like the Lasat Smashdown option.
The winner gets a hotKallus as reward.Or Saw’s Lasat v.s. Kallus, Kallus win, but doesn’t kill Saw’s Lasat because Character Development

. Saw’s Lasat wants to play dirty, Zeb steps out saying it’s Dishonorable. Stare-down and hisses intensified. Saw and Hera find out about the death match and rush to the scene. It becomes a mexican standoff between the two teams. Situation becomes dire.
Deux Ex Machina aka the Empire comes in the party to rid of the Rebels scum. Team Saw and Team Hero defeated common enemy (with more force then usual because they are both pissed) and agree that they have to stand each others’ existence. They parted their ways still pissed, but at least it’s some sort of closure.
Man. I don’t have that much faith in Saw or his Lasat militia man. Rebel Rising did a number on me. Saw left a lot of kids to die because of Tough Love and/or The Cause. He doesn’t strike me as being the type that would step in and stop that showdown. He’d be the type to throw a knife in the middle and say the ride’s leaving, clean up your mess or find a different way home.
It would be interesting for the Empire to interrupt that showdown; I haven’t considered that angle. Makes me wonder if the showdown doesn’t happen because Saw is throwing a party for the Empire. In the middle of town. And the Rebels show up to minimize casualties. Could be one of those things where Thrawn lets them go because he showed up for the same reason.
Also, “hissing intensifies” makes me really want to find out that Lasat honor duels are nothing more than hand to hand cat fights. Like Hera can step in with a squirt bottle and say ‘down boys, down!“ psst psst.
I’m also still trying to figure out how Ezra would play into it all, because he’s the star of the show and you _know_ he’ll be in the hairball.
I haven’t read Rebel Rising, so my impression with Saw is still a mix of his TCW and Ghost of Geonosis state. Judging from how he was in Guardians of the Whills, his ways became much worse from Ghost of Geonosis to there. But you’re right, he is most likely not one who will stop the duel, but rather enforce it (maybe even plan to kill Kallus whether Zeb/Kallus win the fight or not, because he hates/doesn’t trust imperials).
Cat fights are 95% hissing and 5% actual fight. I just had a mental image of Lasats doing the same…
Ezra! Maybe Saw’s Lasat pushes Kallus and Ezra is like “HEY! The only one who can push Kallus is ME!” And he force-push Saw’s Lasat. Then everyone draws their weapons. Kanan: “EZRA!!” Ezra: “What? He’s being a jerk!” Kanan: “I was going to do that!” (ok this is too comedic to be realistic)
