Maybe this is hypocritical considering how much i love bb8 but whenever i see a porg i can help but think abt how its existence is a result of some movie exec guys getting togwther and designing a character based around how successful its toy is gonna be like yes i knkw this sounds fake edgy and most of the droid characters i love were also designed this way but for somw reason bb8 and r2 and thr gang radiate friendship while the porgs radiate this unsettling capitalistic energy and idk why
OH MY DUDE! PREPARE TO BE EXCITED! PORGS EXIST BECAUSE OF PUFFINS! Quite literally. There’s were too many puffins on the island so instead of trying to digitally remove every puffin, they covered with porgs! That’s the only reason the exist.
