I finished watching Devilman: Crybaby in one go.
It is a good modernized adoption of the original manga. I am glad that they improved

’s personality (you can’t expect too much from the year it’s written), and added some of the modern issues such as the danger of internet bullying/instigation.
Being a otherwise quite loyal adaptation, it is still very clear that the manga was created during the cold war era.
It’s a nice thing they keep all the violent and sexual stuffs. I mean, it’s go big or go home.
On a less serious note: imagine being an asexual demon among your… colleague. Must be very awkward.
