I don’t think people really get how terrible NATO is.

Like… From its creation it was a bunch of western European countries plus US to “defend” themselves against Eastern threats. Which is total bullshit because even at the time of its creation the biggest threat these guys faced was within Europe from the fucking Nazis.

Their strength was still bigger than thst of any Eastern country and they used that power and alliance to terrorise other countries.

That kept escalating and basically now you have this organisation that is like a gang that offers protection.

This is literally it.

Countries enter, pay money, sell out, just because this alliance has superpower and military and financial development and if you are on the good side and bend the head, you are protected from other enemies.

That’s all it is and anyone who think it’s otherwise is naive.

Now, the EU is going that way as well with their smaller country members.
