To think, this is Poe when he loses 1 friend. I think this is good foreshadowing to his developments down the line because he starts to become more irrational and hot-headed after this. This was the moment of change for Poe Dameron as a character.

You know, I read all of these comics
and I didn’t actually realize everything they were foreshadowing. And it really works! Poe’s actions in TLJ aren’t out of character at all!
he has flaws, instead of solving them right away they build up to a breaking point after some devastating losses, and finally he learns and he evolves and he grows. what more can you ask of a hero?
