This arc is TWC at its peak. 10/10 would watch again for sassiest Kenobi.
This is the episode that really made me fall in love with Star Wars, the prequels, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, and all of it.
It’s that moment where DOOKU: snarls, “Do control your protégé’s insolence so I can concentrate.”
OBI-WAN: “Anakin.” ANAKIN: also snarls, “WHAT.” OBI-WAN: in the most facetious voice that has ever happened, “Control your insolence. The count is concentrating.“

where he is like THIS CLOSE to losing his shit from frustration and Obi-Wan being all, “Anakin.” at him IS NOT HELPING HIS TEMPER
to Obi-Wan being sarcastic about ~controling his protégé~ and Anakin is immediately onboard with this hilarity
That’s it, that’s what got me. Obi-Wan and Anakin tag-teaming Dooku with being dicks to him because he’s Dooku, like Dooku deserves this and FAR MORE from them, he deserves to be annoyed by his grandpadawan and great-grandpadawan, he deserves to be soundly mocked for being an asshole first.
This is where I saw them as The Team, where they make each other laugh even in tense situations, where they may clash sometimes, but Anakin gets Obi-Wan’s sense of humor and finds it funny as well, where Obi-Wan clearly enjoys being around Anakin, where they’re HILARIOUS together.
This is where we see what Obi-Wan and Anakin have grown into being after Anakin’s Knighting, this is where we see Obi-Wan being a total troll, this is where we see Anakin kind of start losing his shit at a bunch of different points, then calming down and smiling when Obi-Wan makes some joke, this is where TCW is at its most fun and where The Team is The Team. This is where I fell in love.
