I remember reading a version of the 10 suns mythology saying that the suns were siblings and they were mad at something, so they came out all together to scorch the earth just to demonstrate how pissed they were. Some guy or guys shot 8 of them, the 9th was so traumatized that he became the moon, leaving the 10th the only sun left.
