as in the Tumblr Definition (you know what I mean). More like her writings were not as “liberal and awake

“ as she wanted to be seen with all the problems that was listed in my earlier reblog which were definitely pointed out and discussed before, and that annoyed the hell out of me when the writers who did the actual works didn’t boast about it at all.

A lot of my dislike is from when the issues were running hot and she was very active on tumblr. The atmosphere here back then was that no one was to say anything bad because she’s the first woman IDW hired to write Transformers, and the fandom must stan her at all costs. There were certainly some legit cratisism and some bigot asks but the way she handled the wind of tumblr fans and replied some “bad” asks like a tumblr sjw was seriously ticking me off. It was a bad time because as much as I hate some of the TFW2005 dudebros, it’s really not that much better here sometimes.
But after some huge flame war between she and Simon Furman (I do
think in this particular case Furman was being a bigot regarding the
female transformers, and gender and race in reality), she was more
subtle with social media so it’s a good improvement.

I was really set back during the whole thing, but I did defend her at that time since Furman was clearly wrong. Then these posts happened and they are not helping when the other writers were trying to correct the hot mess that is “Arcee, the sole and only female transfomers, is a failed attenpt of transgender experiment” written by Simon Furman (They were pitching for the idea that Transformers have no biological sex but choose their own preferred pronouns). Fortunately, IDW didn’t let her handle any of the more sensitive issues:

Also, I am not a fan that she was acting all awake and shit on Tumblr but the biggest “ship” she’s pushing is Starscream and Windblade. And that she basically took the biggest fanship from TFP, Breakdown and Knockout, because guess what? it’s a free and popular ship, put them into TAAO (forgot when they first appeared) will get all the fangirls’ cheer, but they were more of a gimmick than an actual thing when I droppe the issues out of disinterest. I felt cheated and frustrated.

And how Windblade barely has any character, Chromia is a terrotist and murderer, Elita-one at that time looks like your typical 80′s cartoon’s psycho female fatale villian.

And at least by the time I dropped the story, there’re
maybe once

a random dropping of “hey look they are lesbian guards, give me an awake point” so… yeah, it didn’t really give me a good impression on top of a boring plot (not to mention that she got almost ALL the big names and super stars from multiple continuies).

Also, she’s very biased with “her” characters, and I dislike her making excuses for “her” characters’ misdeed while she stan Starscream like a ff.net fangirl but this is more of a personal thing of me so I’ll just leave it here…

PS: Prowl was thrwon into jail after that. Chromia is still roaming the city free.

I am curious to know the details of the whole Unslaught thing (it looks like a prompt from kink meme) and the whole KO/BD thing (I always thought they are just like in the TFP cartoon?) though……

I just realized that it’s like looking at JR Rowling twitting about who’s gay and who’s trans but never really actually writes them in her novels while you can pick all those little bigot things in her novels. Lmao lady you’re not that “awake” stop pretending.
