Other companies are taking on Transformers too! For the more official angle, Flame Toys’ IDW Autobot Megatron kit got fully revealed, and it’s a beaut. This is another comic design that really deserved a properly accurate release, and I’ll shamelessly admit I was a fan of the novel character arc it embodies (though I understand why others were less crazy about it). As a bonus on that front, this Megatron never actually transformed in the pages of the comic he starred in, so if the usual lack of that feature on a Flame Toys release would normally put you off, at least it’s more appropriate here!
