So, the US government told Venom to “do his usual thing” to
John Jonah Jameson

to silence him because the editor is writing something they don’t like. But when Venom tried to “do his thing” by defenestrating Jameson (saved by Spiderman, of course), the US government was like “nooooo we mean to scare him not to murder him” and think Venom is too unstable to control so they decided to simply set off the explosive they implanted in Eddie’s chest to kill him.

Like, wtf????? It’s not like they used Venom for tea party, for crying out loud. What do they think the “usual thing” is? This is hyprocracy on the next level. No wonder Venom is pissed. And after all the physical and chemical fuck ups done to his head, no wonder he’s mentally unstable after all this crap.

Why are the 2000′s Venom comics so gritty and and dark and in general look terrible story-wise? Thanks I think I’ll hate them. But I must continue…

Venom scarf knitting parrten

For anyone who’s interested in making one: here

PS: It’s modified by the fox scarf pattern you can find on the internet. I just changed the head pattern. Since I don’t know the english terms for knitting, hope the knitting signs in the file is enough (I think they’re international?)

The finished product looks like this:

image

There is a mouth that can “bite” the tail of the scarf, so Venom can wrap itself nice and steadily on your shoulder. I haven’t got my lazy ass out to buy the frabic to sew on its teeths so it looks a bit funny now.

image

The head is the only more complicate part. Started a double sided knitting with black and red yarns (you can find good tutorials on youtube). Switch the black yarn to white to make the eyes, the only tricky part is working three yearns at the same time and pay attention to sandwich the white yarn between the black and red ones.

After the upper head is done, seperate the two sides, continue with the black side and simply knit the body in whatever pattern you desire.

image

After the body is done, goes back to the red side, started another double sided knitting with new black yarn, knit a mirror shape of the upper head (just follow the pattern of the head in my file but do it in reverse steps) so that you get a lower jaw. Knit a tongue, sew on some teeths, and you got a Venom scarf!

if thanos wanted to kill off half of the population because there weren’t enough resources……..but then snapped half of the vegetation and animals (according to the russos)……..then isn’t he back at square one……………and there aren’t enough resources for the population……………

what about……..all of the empty and abandoned planets……..he couldn’t have restributed populations there? or like………..what about endangered species they’re pretty much gone now thanks to T Hanos…………..he really didn’t think this through………….

this is deadass what part 4 is gonna be. like he’s gonna realize “huh…. maybe this wasn’t a good idea” and reverse time.

Or he literally could have just doubled the resources

Maybe I’m wrong but all he would need is the Space Stone to teleport and  redistribute resources + life. But I guess killing half of all life made more sense.

Or he could’ve just created more planets and teleported the halfs but a bitch is too dumb

He can throw a moon for a fight but teleporting some resources is too much work?

He can change reality but he uses it to fake his death and do a power point presentation?

He has the time stone, in which he could literally go back in time and save his home planet ….not by killing half of them …but by using these new powers?

T Hanos a stupid mf and needs his ass beat asap

Thanos’ plan made way more sense when it was to try and bone a skeleton.

It’s not often you can say that changing a story so it’s not about a man trying to have sex with a Space Skeleton makes it LESS coherent and sensible but here we are

1. yeah they really should have stuck with the skeleton fucker thing

2. Are you surprised Thanos genuinely thinks this is a good plan? His entire civilization somehow Mr. Magoo’ed their way into being a space faring empire without ever figuring out renewable energy or sustainable farming practices, and when they found themselves in some kind famine, apparently the only two options presented were to kill half the population, or implode and die, somehow. And they decided to just implode and die, so efficiently that thanos is the only one left,, somehow. The Titans were clearly a race of Magnificent Idiots and Thanos is carrying on that proud tradition.

I have ranted about this before but like, there was some genuine potential in this bullshit? that gets completely ruined by the narrative treating Thanos’s plan like it has merit.

If they’d addressed it for being as stupid as it is and let it reinforce Thanos’s characterization as a short sighted egomaniac, it could have been a great plot point.

but the minute they give it an inch of legitimacy or treat it like a sincere moral quandary and try to frame Thanos as a sympathetic character just doing the hard job that no one else wants to do?

That turns what could have been a solid and interesting character motivation into a load of bullshit that makes it look like the writers dont know how google works.

Thanos,

But that’s exactly the point. Thanos genuinely thinks he’s doing the universe a favor and it is showned in the movie so that the audience see that he is 100% into his greatly flawed idea and 100% feels like what he does is a great personal sacrifice for the greater good, while everyone else besides him (and his little army) knows it’s bunkers. Movie Thanos’ reason for killing half of the universe is just as stupid as comic Thanos’s reason, but movie Thanos is kind of more scary because he thinks all those killing are for our good.

And it’s interesing to see some real life people actually aggre to Thanos’ idea without seeing the illogical flaws in his grand plan (even without the directors’ note about not only sentient species but all life forms are cut in half, making Thanos’ logic more nonsense)
