The Magnificience gave them a coordinate, but someone needs to stay behind to operate the machine, Grimlock asked Misfire to put the incubation pod into his chest and offered to stay. Misfire didn’t want him to stay, the scavengers did emergency huddle to think of another way. Grimlock grasped the chance and pushed them all into the portal, he himself ready to face a group of Decepticons who’s about to break the door.

The Scavengers got transported to Garrus-9, but they are inside Grimlock’s cell, which mean the cell is locked, with them in it. Their part of story ended here.

I mean, 100 Decepticon runts is a easy piece of cake for Grimlock to kill so I’m not worry about him. The Scavengers are locked in a cell but it’s not like they are in immediate danger or anything. I’m pretty sure Grimlock will go to Garrus-9 himself after he kill all those Decepticons, so they will totally be fine *shrug* it’s just a bit let down that it’s not a “full closure” kind of story and I don’t know how long I have to wait until the story is picked up again.

They can bang each other and rotate. I haven’t seen any fan art of Grimlock being banged though… hmm

I think the “bad guy bites their own bullet so that the good guy won’t have blood on their own hand” trope is outdated (it’s made too obvious especially in older movies), but I can understand if it’s a kid’s show.

Interestingly, a few Donnie Yen movies I’ve watched have female characters who’s had violent fight with both male and female opponents. In The Line of Duty Four (a policewoman) and Wu Xia (one of the villain) are the ones I could think of immediately.

I mean, as long as it’s not the “remember, women, if you are bad, you’re punished” trope (often seen in horror movies for some reason), or showing violent or rape scene for shock value (you could simply… hint it… especially in the later scenario), they are… bearable (why’s it always the man’s wife and daughter were killed?) (female hero always fight the female villain)
