I wonder if it has the same cultural significance around the world as in the US. Reddit keeps gatekeeping this movie, clearly separating black folks from the whites.
Looks like we can’t really appreciate the implications of this film

People in Taiwan mostly watch it because it’s a marvel movie and because people had good impression of Black Panther from Civil War movie, but there’s no as big an fuss as in the US since black/white people is not our racial problem (we have our own racial problems, trust me).

I think some of the messages in the movie is
relatable

though.
