So, Infinity War thoughts:

I have a few nitpicks, but overall it’s still a good movie, especially considering how big and how many plot lines they have put in this one. Good job, Russo brothers.

HUGE SPOILERS ABOUT EVERYTHING:

Thanos is the destroyer of otps. Period.

When Thanos choked Loki to death, there are several weeping sounds from the theater. It’s sad to see Loki go out so easily, but he did save Thor, and that matters to me. (cue in the fangirls sniffing in the theater #1)

Thanos surprisingly has more depth than I expect. I think his motive, as extreme as it is, is actually made convincing in the film. The scene when he killed Gamora is the most emotional scene in the movie because you know his love is real (otherwise the sacrifice won’t be accepted to release the soul stone), it’s just not as much as his goal. And he did want peace after he wiped out half of the galaxy’s population so he’s not making excuses about his believe, and I like the honesty a lot.

Thor also has some short but emotional scenes. And probably the saddest. When he said he has nothing more to lose (even if they fail), and trying so hard to pretend to smile like he used to be, that’s… pure sadness.

The romance between Vision and Scarlet Witch is great and it’s so sad to see Vision had to die twice.

Tony watched Peter turned to dust in his arms is cruel.

Bucky’s last word is “Steve?” and I’m dead.

However, since I know people who got erased will return in the future, I mean, we know there will be a Spiderman 2, and they’re totally not gonna let T’challa just disappear like that, so they are actually the safe-ist group? And I am very worry about the people who survive the Thanos Elimination… will Cap survive Infinity War? Fuck I have to worry for another year to know.

And Nick Fury almost said motherfu- is the most hilarious thing ever.
