Lost Light #10:

Mood: Bitch slap an asshole with a paint glass while in stealth mode.

Interesting plot twist. Hmm.

(Not entirely serious) Speculation:

#10 is Thunderclash’s loophole coma. The event (or a similar version of it) in his coma did happen, but it ended with Getaway catching the protectobots, locked them up somewhere on the Lost Light and trapped Thunderclash in the coma. Thunderclash will break the loophole and get the protectobots out in the next issue. The protectobots will form Defensor in the third issue of the trilogy and smash Getaway’s face worse than Mirage did with that paint glass.

Edit: after some thoughts during work (don’t judge me), it seems that #10 is more likely the protectobots’ (collective?) loophole coma. They came in, got caught, and were set in coma using the edited version of their memory. Still think either them or Thunderclash will break the loophole.

Lost Light #7 thoughts:

  • The part where Magnus snapped and reveal how betrayed he felt because of Megatron is great. It made Terminus’ scheme of tricking Megatron to stay behind in the Functionist Universe even worse.
  • Even though I have become more and more weary of the whole Tailgate thing (he’s been a over-powered brat for how long? On top of it being my least favorite trope, it’s really getting too long), what he got is too much for what he has done.
  • The scene between Whirl and Cyclonus is the highlight of this issue.
  • Fangry is really nasty. But damn, I’m more upset about the fact that he killed Kaput to achieve his revenge plan.

criminarchy:

Things to notice:

• The first panel, where Cyclonus looks completely and genuinely miserable.
•The last panel, where Whirl, both with his claw and his expression, is being just so gentle.
