Eli isn’t short.
Hear me out.
First of all, we know Thrawn is tall (I think like 6’5" if I remember correctly), plus he’s buff buff… and if Eli is ~only~ two shirt sizes smaller than Thrawn, he’s probably around 5’8" or maybe 5’10".
Granted this is based on the idea that the Star Wars galaxy has a similar shirt sizing system to us. But…
All things considered, Eli is probably an average guy.
I headcanon that Eli is around 172cm sooo 5’7"? Thrawn is about as tall as Kallus who is 190cm in canon. Thrawn’s height isn’t confirmed but I assume it’s around that.
I just estimate Thrawn’s height by comparing him to Kallus, and he seems maaaaarginally taller.

Like I said, they haven’t confirmed Thrawn’s height yet but yeah, I would say he’s 193-5cm based on rebels? sooo 6’4"?
