An interesting thought but if that were true, wouldn’t he be wearing them all the time? Or at least when he’s looking at art? I mean he’s put them on just for this meeting with Pryce.
I think his eyes would naturally filter out some red light and to see in infrared, he would have to have an extra cone in each eye, which means Thrawn would see more colours than we do. However, let me propose an alternative use for the green glasses:

right? If it ends up in the Unknown Space, I don’t think Thrawn will
take it near the Chiss territory. It will be a perfect opportunity to introduce Yuuzhan Vong and it’s more likely that Thrawn will make some kind of truce with Ezra so that they can both survive it.
Imagine the expression of the Chimera crew when they see an actual Yuuzhan Vong warrior, they are not paid enough for that. Even though they won’t fight Thrawn’s fight (for his people), they will have to fight for their own lives.
Ezra will be so confused because he can’t sense those alien people lol
“WHAT are THOSE, Thrawn? DROIDS? I can’t feel the Force in them!”
“Very perceptive, Ezra Bridger. I’ll let you know that the Yuuzhan Vong would consider the words you just said the highest form of insult.”
Thrawn and Ezra were both conveniently taken out of the picture from the old movies, which is neat.
I do wonder if their story is to be continued, would they be taken to the Unknown Region? Maybe they would be force to face the enemy/threat Thrawn mentioned about in the novel. There’s great potential to it and I think because Ezra has grown up a huge deal, he would not be too fussed about having to work with Thrawn if he sees something that might threaten the world and people he loves (even though he will be super snarky and Thrawn will probably be so annoyed he wish he was strangled by tentacle monster lol)
Finally, I got the shards to 7* my Chimera. However, I forgot it takes 2m instead of 1m of ship currency to upgrade, so I will still have to wait for a few days before my Thrawn can command his ship at full force.
