Venom #9 thoughts:

I don’t trust the writer enough to be too emotionally involved but if we take what’s shown in the comic at face value, Carl Brock is even worse than I thought and I need Eddie Brock to adopt his little brother (whose age can be his son for Knull’s sake).

However, the total denial of Mary Brock by Carl Brock looks tricky. Either the old man is in complete denail, or there’s something fishy about him. Or he is a fake. Which means Dylan is a fake too. And the whole thing is just someone or some organization tricking Eddie for something.

If it turns out that this whole ordeal is just in Eddie’s head, that he is in some kind of mind palace simulation, I will be very upset.

Venom #9

When Mike Costa wrote the worst Transformers comic in it’s 30+ year history, he sure loved to use those edgy references of darkness. Now I see the same pattern here…

If this whole thing is not a conspiracy (the dad is a clone? the brother is a clone? It’s an alien setup? don’t tell me it’s all Eddie’s dream) then Eddie’s father is still a child abuser.

Symbiote is protective of Flash too ｡ﾟヽ(ﾟ´Д`)ﾉﾟ｡

For a sec I thought Flash’s back… nope. But his genetic residue (?) helped them escape.

They are family (Eddie and Flash do look like brothers XD). Or OT3. Whatever. I just hope the three are happy.

And God Damn It. Eddie is so insecure about himself. But it’s nice that he’s not being negative about Flash now (haven’t went through the post 2000 comics yet but from what I know they are kind of fucked up on Eddie’s side of story). And it’s so sad that he think Symbiote doesn’t like him that much. Come on dude, Symbi can have a bff and a boyfriend and love them both!
