What if Carnage symbiote is born/spawned during the Riot/Venom/Eddie/Drake fusion fight?
It’s like a once in a life time symbiote gangbang so just like bacterial
conjugation, it’s the perfect time to exchange genetic material and spawn a strong offspring.
None of the participants know about the baby because, well, they were fighting (and dead). Imagine Eddie and Venom’s faces when Carnage says “I am your spawn” lol
I know that The Nativity and First Host are kind of old news, but I just wanted to give some appreciation to the youngest spawn. This squishy babe is speculated to be one of, if not the most powerful symbiotes in the Marvel 616 Universe. He’s just the cutest, deadly little goo. (his chemokinesis truly is the coolest thing) Best of all, he took host in a Kree warrior by force, as an infant. What a fucking powerhouse.
I personally think the Sleeper symbiote story arc has one of the best examples of Eddie and Venom’s relationship in the modern comics. Sleeper’s birth not only strengthened Symbrock’s bond as lovers, but added a more nurturing aspect to it as well. Before Sleeper, Eddie never helped raise or influence the symbiote’s other spawn, which evidently led them down the path of monstrous villainy. Sleeper was the first baby that Eddie really tried to father and protect, simply because Venom expressed concerns about shaping their baby’s future into something brighter. He was ready, willing, and able to support and care for his Other and their offspring, no matter what happened. That’s wholesome love, and I’m really here for it. Before long, both of them were basking in the pride of parenthood, gushing to civilians about Sleeper and his developments.
Also, the fact that Sleeper’s just so powerful??? And that he only ends up leaving home to explore space because he was mesmerized by the beauty he’d seen in his Kree host’s mind??? And he looks like this???
Sleeper is such a badass rebellious teen and honestly, I wish that he’d had more of a childhood. The bonding moments between Sleeper and his dads were so sweet, and it really made Eddie’s love and support for Venom shine.
I am catching up with the Venom comics on Comixology. But the collective volumes (Venom vol. 1-4) don’t have the ones where Venom was involved in other superhero stories, and the stories are discontinous and confusing since it’s so obvious that they lack big chunks of plot in between, but I don’t have the time and effort and money to get all other comics. I guess that’s just life.
Also I am curious when the tone of the relationship between Eddie and Venom symbiote changed. It seems that they are both pretty fucked up in some of the early stories, pretty sure it was just a mad man and a blood thirsty alien before.
