OK, my brother bought Netflix, so I watched the first 3 episodes of Star Trek: Discovery.
I would be so much more enraged if I haven’t known the *spoilers* beforehand.
You really shouldn’t promoted the show as with two female lead, then killing off one in the second episode.
I was like “Finally, another female ASIAN lead in a tv show” (the only other i can think of is Elementary) so you can understand how disappointed I felt. I wasn’t going to watch this if my booster hasn’t bought it.
Michael, you don’t convict mutiny for that. It’s the typical trying to do good but using the wrong approach. Plus, court martial exists you know, it’s bad for your career (unless you save the universe, I guess). You are very impulsive for someone who finished vulcan training.
So Klingon is the space Mongolian. I do like how the Klingon lady wears jewelry. I don’t know why the producer changed their look though.
Most of the crew member on Discovery look like jerks.
Except Saru and the girl with curly hair.
The Vulcans are space Jedi.
Space… fungi????? Okay?????
Ignoring the big turn down for me, the show looks interesting enough.
Klingons are fucking space Nazis now. We’ll… That group not all lol
Always thohgj they were ripped off viking culture but I see I was kinda wrong lately lol
Stil mad about Michelle
Will forever be
Half the crew ARE jerks
The klingon’s are actually supposed to be based off of white surpremists in discovery. At least according to the show people.
I think the klingon’s deserve better than being turned into litterally trash that our world creates….
I am a bit disappointed to hear this. I am rather fond of the Klingons because of TNG and Voyager, I am just a “casual fan” but I don’t want to see them being written as space Nazis nor white supremist (it’s also super weird because Klingons have dark skin).
Kind of glad I just asked my brother to tell me what happened in episode 4 because… eww He asked me whether I want to watch episode 4 but because he has already watched it, we watched the original series instead. No regret (I’ve never watched TOS)
